Work and travel have made regular posting difficult for me recently.
Here is one I found in my “to post” folder, left over from April. It is Veronica Syriaca, one of the 18 V. species we have in Israel. This is quite common at higher elevations, over 600 m or so. This little annual has flowers that are about 1 cm in size. In places it forms large “carpets” of blue in white. This specific specimen has less of the white in the lower, narrow part of the flower. |
