[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This desert annual has typical waxy almost succulent leaves. Unlike its scientific name (angustifolia, meaning narrow leaved), it has broad leaves. It is common along the Arava Valley in extreme desert and blooms only rarely after the rains once every 5-10 years.

Hy Ori
Interesting species! The Composites family it seems to be indeed a very huge family, with many forms and shapes, in many environments; I like this flower very much: the strong yellow, well redated!
All the best, Oana

Hi Ori,
This beautiful desert annual is very similar to an alpine flower I photographed recently on the Paparoa range.
I'll have to post it one day.
Cheers
Steve

Hallo Ori
Another brightly well captured and displayed flower. I do not know if these are similar to the ones, I am thinking of, but when you break the stem, a sticky milky fluid appears, and it also does not smell nice. Your presentation is clear, well focused and pleasantly presented.
Thanks for sharing.
Best regards
Anna

Hello Ori,

Very attractive grayish green foliage, sets off the yellow flower very nicely. Excellent detail and light, shows the flower very well.

Hi Ori,
perfectly well descibing, well composed presentation of that rare desert plant with its waxy leaves. Another valuable adder to your great portfolio - one of the most precious herbariums in the web.
With thanks, and best regards,
