| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This is the showiest of our Aristolochia species, known in English as birthworts, pipevines or Dutchman's pipes. The picture shows the open flower with a “mouth” of about 30 mm opening, on the background of the typical leaves. |

A fine capturec indeed under diffused lighting Ishi, this looks much similar to our A. sempervirens.

Hello Ishi,
This is an excellent capture of this beauty! I love Aristolochias with their peculiar 'pipe'-like flowers. This one has very beautiful markings and colours and the leaves look lovely as a background too.
Many thanks and regards, Ulla

Hello Ishi,
Happy that you show a Aristolochia-species which is the foodplant of the Southern Festoon, the butterfly I just presented on TN. I didn't know so much about this plant and it has a real amazing shape, reminds a pipe indeed.
Good framing and sharpness.
Thanks s lot and
Kind regards
Anne
