[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another image of Allium tardiflorum, our Autumnal Allium. Please see my posting of yesterday (www.treknature.com/gallery/photo218868.htm). Note the erect buds. The dried long “twig”, running across the picture is the spathe, the long leaf-like bract that encapsulates the inflorescence, before the buds are fully developed and are ready to open.

Hi Ishi,

Great macro capture of the plant with vivid colors! The sharpness and POV are perfect with great use of the shallow DOF. The blurred BG is just wonderful and gives great contrast to the green-colored subject.

What a lovely capture!
Would you consider cloning out the white dot under the inflorescence, and perhaps the white out-of-focus twig or stem in the centre bottom? I still like it, nonetheless.
