[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Heliotropium hirsutissimum (Boraginaceae) is an annual blooming in the summer months and into the fall, especially near cultivated areas. The flowers, about 8 mm tall, are arranged on as stalk resembling a scorpion’s tail. In fact, in Hebrew the species call “Scorpion’s Sting" (Okets Akrav; עוקץ-עקרב)

Bonjour Ishi,
Avec ses grandes fleurs, cet Heliotrope est très différents de nos espèces du sud de la France. L'inflorescence ample est également originale. Belle présentation.
Amicalement,
hervé

A beautiful grouping in fine focus and exposure against the dark BG Ishi, A superb image indeed!

Dear Ishi!

Many thanks for presenting us this plain, yet so pleasant flower. I like its delicateness and also appreciate the short and instructive notes.

Kind regards

Markus

nice one, but I think it is Heliotropium suaveolens. dash Ori

Bonjour Ishi,
L'angle de prise de vue et le cadrage sont judicieux pour la valorisation du sujet.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
