Narcissus serotinus [Amaryllidaceae], our “Autumnal Narcissus”, 
is a rare species of narcissus blooming early in the fall. Like many of the early bloomers, it will grow its leaves only later in the season. The flower, up to 30 mm in diameter, is characterized by a small “crown”, or cup, of the inner golden petals.
