[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This moth caterpillar belong to the saturniidae (Emperor) moths. It flies only in Madagascar.
Wingspan: about 160 m"m.
Females attract the males with aromatic pheromone and the male with its thick antenna can smell the female from few kilometers. Its forewings are brown-yellow with 2 small eyes and the hindwings are brown-pink with 2 big eyes covered by a mask.
The caterpillar feeds on Oleander and other tropical shrubs.
Caterpillar length is about 80 m"m and the pupa covered with thin cocoon.

The picture was taken in day time with macro lens +5 and external flash.
