[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The scimitar-horned oryx, named for its scimitar-shaped horns, weighs up to 220 kg (480 lb). The oryx inhabits the sub-desert lands - the transition zones between true desert (Sahara) and the Sahel. It is found in rolling dunes, grassy steppes and wooded inter-dunal depressions. It very rarely penetrates either true desert or true Sahel country.
A small herd lives in captivity in Israel.

scott

Nice capture!!

I know it's a rare anthelope.
Good composition and colors,
Andrea

Very good shot Eyal, love the low POV and muted colours of this capture. Composition is very good also. Well done.

I really like the very low POV and the lighting, though subtle, is excellent. I really like the composotion with the trees in the BG.

Hello Eyal, Exellent photo, Perfect colors, BG, DOF, Perfect sharpness, TFS Kyle

Great sharpness and dof to emphasis the subject. Great job

Great shot Ayal.
As far as I know, this is one of the endanger species in your neck of the woods and Iím glad the government of Israel has make provisions to avoid the complete extinction of this beautiful animal.
It is a good capture with good colors and good definition.
Excellent composition and framing.
Regards
JC
