This Large Cabbage White (Pieris brassicae) is one of the most common butterfly in Israel. The female has 2 black spots in forewing. Therefore, the butterfly in the picture is a male.
Wingspan: about 60 m"m.
Host plants: Cabbage and other.
Flight: In Israel - most of the year.

Hi yehuda ,
Great macro pic , i would recommend u to go more parallel to the butterfly so this way you would get more wig view , guess this pic was taken to show us the black tip on the wing. Great pic ,
