[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Arabian Orynx was brought to the Hai-Bar Wildlife from U.S.A Preserve from the Saudi-Arebia. From cave drawings found in the Sinai and Eilat areas, it is clear that the Orynx was once very common to the Israli landscape, until to Roman period, when he was exterminated from the wild. In Israel, about 80 Arabian oryxes had been reintroduced in the Negev and the Arava deserts

the negev...?
this shot...absolutely timeless
its almost 3D
with the use of differential focus and that big lens you have...'frozen' the image in space and allowed everything else to fade out...
good foreground makes the ground seem a lot higher and gives prominence to the animal
sharp and clear
cheers

Hi Eyal,
A lovely image of this elegant creature, caught in such a noble pose.Having it centered in this case is not so bad as the BG is blurred enough for the animal not to be affected by the trees.Really good detail with great texture so the animal stands out.You handled the difficult light very well.
Regards, David

Eyal this animal does look good, so sharp and clear to see. He stands out well on teh stony ground. Well done,

P.S Points tomorrow

Very good composition and very good pose, I think that you should be gentle with sharpenning, it seems to me oversharpened.

I really love the sun's glow on this Orynx, I've never seen one before. The trees in the background have such wonderful shapes too, well done.
