Falco tinnunculus
Habitat: open space ' near roads and highways,fields and also seen in urban palces.
Length:31-37 c"m
Wing span : 68-78 c"m.
Feeds on insects field mice etc...
Nests on trees or ocassionaly in abandoned crow's nests and even in buildings.

I took the picture while leaning out of the car's window ( the car was at a halt )- hand held camera . The bird was almost above me at a distance . I managed to shoot some 12 pictures before it took off.

post processing : Saturation + brightness+ USM + NI.

Nice shot taken under difficult circumstances. You did well, I like how the sunlight catches his underfeathers, feet and head. Nice clear photo.

Nicely done. Looks like a male. I guess you couln't back up the car to get a better POV.? 70-300mm I think you could have. Then again, they are skiddish.

Great shot, but a pity that you didn't get the face in focus.

Interesting subject that is nicely composed. The face however a bit out of focus. It could be because of a high F-stop but you did not specify the aperture setting used. Well done.
