Autumn Squill (Scilla Autumnalis)
---------------------------------
A member of the lily family, this small, bulbous perennial has racemes of star-like, lilac or purple flowers on short stalks. The flowers appear before the leaves in late summer or early autumn. The narrow, dark green, fleshy leaves are produced in clusters in the spring. Autumn squill is hardy and naturalises well in grass. In the wild it is found in short, dry turf near the sea, mainly on sandy calcareous soils.

Nice composed, good color and great detail. A couple of hot spots on the pink petals that could use some work in PS.

What a wonderful macro of this nice flower! Details are very good on all the flowers and buds. I didn't know that those flowers flourish at the end of summer, this is quite special. This is a very good POV and composition, well done with interesting notes. Thanks,

What a wonderful flower. I know them only in white. Never seen this colour. Very nice. Good pov and composition and good bg colours.

Very nice composition David with great POV and colors.

I like it a lot: composition, color, POV, DOF, focus, sharpness, background, lighting, framing, notes and PP.

I don't like it: nothing to argue.
