Hello Aviad,
This is a fine shot of the front half of this monitor lizard, sharp, good POV and composition.
Something of the 'Jurassic Park' feel about it.
TFS, regards, Ivan

Very nice capture.
No overexposition and good details even in the shade: difficult to achieve in such direct light condition.
Would be good to mention how long it was. I thought monitors were only in Afrrica and oceania. Learning every day on TN.

amazing pic of this extraordinary ceature, its nice to see it from ground level and not from above. toda, Ori

Oh, this lizard looks a bit scary to me even though I am very fond of lizards and snakes. What kind of lens did you use? How big is this lizard? Is it some kind of Varan?

Amazing photo with a great POV and excellent DOF. The exposure is perfect even in the bright sun. The details are outstanding! A favorite!

I try to research to determine the size of your lizard, but i could not find it.

Hi Aviad,

Powerful image of this large monitor. Didn't know they occurred in Isreal.
Good sharpness and composition, well exposed.

Hi Aviad,
Wow, Amazing to have this clear and sharp take for monitor lizard. Normally they are shy and fast.

Great shot! The low pov makes this a excellent photo. Sharply focussed and good details.
