[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This European Bee-eater (Merops apiaster) was photographed by using binoculars as a tele and car as a hide. Jordanian mountains are on the background. Bee-eater makes everything around it look beautiful, even a barbed wire.

Hello Pentti,
Great posting of a beautiful species, thanks for sharing.
Rick

Hi Pennti,
A lovely image from my homeland.I like the composition of it on the wire and the diagonal dirrection. Also the colours and soft light are great. Not easy conditions round Eilat...very dusty.A clever idea to use the binoculars as a tele...learnt something new.Well done and see you again.
Regards, david
