I took the picture of this tiny beauty near a parking lot, while having a short break from driving...

Family - Lamiaceae
Flowers - Corolla bilabiate, pale pink to purplish, to -2cm long. Corolla tube to 1.2cm long, pubescent externally and internally. Upper lip of corolla galeate, 4-5mm long and broad, pubescent externally. Lower lip saccate, with 2 small appendages at apex. Appendages 2-3mm long.
Flowering - December-April
Habitat - Common in waste ground, lawns, cultivated fields, pastures, roadsides, railroads.
Origin - Native to Eurasia and Africa.

Bella composición Shir con escaso DOF que le quita el foco necesario al menos a las dos flores anteriores.
Los detalles visibles al igual que los intensos colores son realmente muy buenos con agradable punto de vista y encuadre.
El fondo oscuro realza la belleza de los ejemplares... es una lástima no haber utilizado un F más amplio en este caso.

Nice close-up of such a small flower. Details of the flowers come out beautifully and the colour is well saturated. Personally I would have preferred a little more DOF so that the tiny flower buds on the top were more visible.

Bonito macro con buena nitidez aunque un poco justa la profundidad de campo, los colores, la luz y el fondo son magníficos. Un cordial saludo

oui effectivement il s'agit de la même plante ou un variete tres proche,voue en avez reussi aussi une tres belle photo.
vous vouliez savoir comment j'avais fait pour obtenir le point de vue,et bien j'ai ceuillit un bout de la plante et je l'ai placée sur un autre trepied a hauteur de l'appareil photo.
