I have seen this beautiful butterfly for the first time, Oz.
It is a lovely capture, giving a grand view of patterns and colours on its wings.

This is a splendid photo!
What a magnificent butterfly! We definately don't get to see this species a lot on TN and especially not this time of the year :), so thanks for sharing!
The patterns and colors of this fellow's wings are brilliant and very well visible in your photo thanks to the impeccable sharpness and lots of details on the subject.
Also the POV is exceptional, the DOF is great - isolating the butterfly very well from the BG and the composition is very nice.

You have a great collection of butterflies on TN, each picture is wonderful, but I like this one most because of the strange colors and patterns on the butterfly. It is truly a splendid insect. Excellent sharp details, natural colors, beautiful composition and POV, excellent BG, beautiful pose of the butterfly with wings fully open... Just perfect !
