Hi David,
Magnificent macro of this bee!
Very good the frontal POV used to show details here, specailly the polen on the legs and eyes of the bee.
Great exposition to have the best of the flower's colors.
DOF choice was really good, to keep in focus the needed and blur the green background.

I thought maybe a smaller aperture could have been an option.
Then I verified your meta and saw a f/29 :-).

Excelente macro David con asombrosos detalles de la cabeza del insecto y su entorno de la flor.
A pesar del F29 el desenfoque produce un efecto de profundidad muy agradable, con gran iluminación mostrando hasta los más pequeños granos de polen.
Me gusta el encuadre elegido con el insecto hacia atrás de la escena, que funciona muy bien con el punto de vista captado.

Excellent macro David with astonishing details of head of the insect and their environment of the flower.
In spite of F29 the out of focus produces an effect of very pleasant depth, with great illumination showing until the smallest grains of pollen.
I like the elected framing with the insect back of the scene that works very well with the captured point of view.

Mate - this one is impressive - you got it right on, facing the camera and it looks magnificent.
I wonder if it bothers the B when pollen gets in it's eyes!

What a fantastic shot! Great capture!
I really love the full-frontal POV here and the strong contrast between the dark fly and the yellow flower...work very nicely here!
The details are very neat and sharp, the DOF is amazing and the exposure spot-on.
All-in-all an amazing composition!
