An Israeli translated this animal as being a ‘Bunny’. I really doubt it, but am not sure as to what it is. Around the size of a large cat, these fat little critters chirp and climb trees in their large families. They have the weirdest habit of watching you in a pack. Often I would turn a corner and find an audience of perhaps 40 of these Bunnies who would not take their eyes of me, swaying their heads to my movements. Very cute indeed.
This picture was taken by Ein Gedi spring, on the Dead Sea. I had to override my auto focus so I could sharpen on the animal, not the tree. Very tame, he didn’t move until I got a good picture. Thoughtful of him. |

Interesting animal. Paul.
Whatever it is, you managed a great POV with excellent eye contact.
Good details with natural colors well exposed.
TFS. : )
