[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A Cattle Egret hiding in the grass just after the storm that passed in my previous image.
You can see this bird quite a bit in Israel at the moment especially next to the temporary bodies of water that have appeared this winter.I even noticed a large group near Meggido (Ramat Menashe) living up to their name with a group of cows amongst the trees.

Hi David

It is great to see this kind of peaceful shots from lovely Erets Yisrael. The lush vegetation provides this bird with an excellent backdrop to highlight its beauty and to enhance its pure white plumage. The scenario is well sprinkled with a number of lovely white flowers and the obvious after effects of the life giving rains. The composition is superb, the colours are well saturated, the details are great, and the exposure was spot-on.
