[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This desert tree originates in the African savannas. The species penetrates northwards along the rift valley and created a savanna-like landscape in the Arava Valley between Jordan and Israel. It is an important factor of the whole ecosystem, many animals live in it or eat it, others rest in its shade.

Hi Ori,
This is a fine shot, well composed, sharp and well presented. An important and interesting contribution to TN because of the ecological importance of acacias in sensitive dry habitats.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Hello Ori,
Very nice presentation of these Acacia trees.
I always found it amazing how animals can manage to reach the leaves as they're covered with sharp thorns. You've captured the shapes of the trees beautifully and I like the colours too - it looks very hot!
TFS and regards, Ulla

What a landscape! Live reduced to a minimum. The photo is beautiful, desolation excluded.

Hi Ori,

Thanks for the kind and gracious critique on my last picture. I’m glad you liked it.

This is a well composed landscape, and I really like it.

Well done and TFS.

Bonsoir Ori
C,est une très belle prise de vue avec ces arbres magnifiques. On peut constater que la vnature est vraiment forte pour réussir a faire pousser des arbres dans ce climats si hostil.
belles couleurs
Bravo et merci

Hello Ori,
Another fine picture from the desert :-) I like the repeated motive of Acacia tree. Interesting dust-like colours. Harsh place to live for a plant - just gravel... I wonder how does it look in the spring.
Best greetings,
Michal

Hi Ori.
I love the shapes of these trees. They are very expressive, especially in such a harsh environment. Well done.
Regards, Steve.
