| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
On a pleasure drive through Wadi Bhi in the Musandam in Oman we came upon a water trough and a lot of wasps drinking the water. There were 3 different wasps and these were the easiest to photograph, but they only give you about 5 seconds before flying off again.
As the trough were in the shade of the mountains I tried an ISO setting of 400 and the 300mm lens on macro to get as close as possible without being stung.
I am unable to identify the species and if anyone can identify it I will really appreciate it. |

Lovely image, but I find it too soft . It can take some more sharpening. I like the POV and the reflection and also the colours on this one.
