Muasi region in the Gaza Strip - very special area, populated by the people with Bedouin roots. I don't know the numbers of Muasi, came across the estimate ~5000 once. Muasi distinguish themselves from the Palestinians and kept good relationships with them and also with the Jewish settlers during the occupation.
This lake with the sweet water surrounded by the sands from all sides is very close to the sea (300 m or so). For me it reminds the views of the landscapes of Nile river from the old photos. |
