Anemone flowers & fully open have reached their flowering cycle/stage. One can see that one of them has already shed its red petals. Its almost time for the other two to follow.

Anemone coronaria(Crown Anemone, poppy anemone, Spanish marigold)is a species of flowering plant in the genus Anemone, native to the Mediterranean region.

Anemone (A-ne-mó-ne, from the Gr. Άνεμος, wind), is a genus of about 120 species of flowering plants in the buttercup family Ranunculaceae in the north and south temperate zones. They are closely related to Pasque flower (Pulsatilla) and Hepatica (Hepatica); some botanists include both of these genera within Anemone.

A very bright anemone flower to make the morning even brighter! A. coronaria has a very striking red colour that you have captured with fine sharpness against a pleasing natural BG in a nice composition.
