These belong to the "flamingo" family. I looked it up on the internet. There is an image of this species published by english.peopledaily.com.cn on the google engine if you look up in its 'images' section and enqire "Flamingos in Doha Zoo".
They are not taking a bath; rather, the one in the F/G is sleeping (standing on one leg) and the other two seem to be 'preening'.
However, thanks for sharing this GREAT image. It is very well done. CONGRATULATIONS.
It is showing to 'me' the deplorable conditions under which this BEAUTIFUL bird is living. Am SURE, SURE that this OIL RICH country could afford better surroundings for these poor creatures. From my office, all the way in Calgary, I can SMELL the stench of the highly polluted water in which they live.
