[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Friends, I thought I would share with you one image from my Riyadh days today.
It is of a Common Bluetail that visited me there only once. I had taken numerous shots of this unexpected visitor and have already posted quite a few. However, the urge to share one more picture turned out to be somewhat irrestible, so here it is.
I feel that I have captured the head and thorax areas pretty well. Anyway, it is for you to decide, so your frank critiques are welcome as usual.
Here is a note on the insect from Wikipedia:

The Common Bluetail (Ischnura senegalensis), also known variously as Ubiquitous Bluetail, African Bluetail, and Senegal Golden Dartlet, is a widespread damselfly of the family Coenagrionidae, native from Africa, through the Middle East, throughout southern and eastern Asia. It has been accidentally introduced to parts of Europe, including Great Britain and Finland.

Thanks for looking and regards to all.

Yes, I agree you have captured the head and thorax very well!
The shallow DOF works superbly and separates the sharp areas from the BG really well.
Nice colours and lighting.
Great POV as well.
Excellent work Ram.
Well done,
Joe
