| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This was photographed while trekking through the lower areas below the Tavertine pools in Pamukkale in one of the few moist areas. Its environment consists of extremely high concentrations of calcium mineral deposits which is contained in the water running down from the upper elevations of the surrounding hills and this calcium is so highly concentrated it deposits vastly thick layers of the mineral as the waters flow down the hillsides. If anyone can identify please do I would like to know. |
