You have chosen a good POV to take this photo with the cormorant. Due to the rear position the plumage is well shown. There are nice color tones of the plumage that you have well rendered.

These big Cormorants are quite a common sight here on the West Coast, although our most abundant species is the Spotted Shag (Stictocarbus punctatus)

Hi Ahmet.
I have met these birds only once in Alushta (Crimea). However, they were so far from me. You, using amazing super tele lens, managed to shot this bird perfectly. Even pictorial colouration of the feather are reproduced excellently. I lie very nice framing of the scene. Location of the bird in left side of the frame in front of nice blue sea and direction of the bird glance are so attractive. Well done and TFS.

Love this view of the Cormorant getting a good view of the sea. Wonderful colors and details. I love the intricate feathers and we see them so well from the back. The face is excellent - cute feathers on the back of his head. The pose on the rock and the composition are superb.

A fine capture of an Adult P. carbo taken from a great POV with excellent sharpness, lighting and colours. With a focal length of 840 mm you must have been some distance from it using your big lens and the 1.4 converter and the result is very good! The composition is excellent too.
