[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Greenshank Tringa nebularia is a wader in the large family Scolopacidae, the typical waders. Its closest relative is the Greater Yellowlegs, together with which and the Spotted Redshank it forms a close-knit group.
Greenshanks are brown in breeding plumage, and grey-brown in winter. They have long greenish legs and a long bill with a grey base. They show a white wedge on the back in flight. They are somewhat larger than the related Common Redshank. The alarm call is a loud trisyllabic whistle.

Like most waders, they feed on small invertebrates, but will also take small fish.

Hello Mehmet,
The second beautiful photo of a Greenshank today. Fantastic clear colours and very sharp. Splendid light on the bird contrasting against the dark water. Very good POV and composition.
Have a great weekend,
Peter

Mehmet: A real "professional" image of a feeding greenshank, with good lighting and perspective and excellent sharpness. Inclusion of the full reflection would have been nice, but I guess you were "focussed" on the bird at the time.
Regards, Nigel.

Good image, Mehmet.
1/500 is short enough, I guess. For example the water droplets are sharp.
It's a good photo with some action. Nice light. Low point of view works very well with most waders. Finally a good compo.
