Tringa stagnatilis (Tr. Bataklık düdükçünü, En. Marsh Sandpiper, Da. Damklire, Du. Poelruiter, Fi. Lampiviklo, Fr. Chevalier stagnatile, Ge. Teichwasserläufer, It. Albastrello, No. Damsnipe, Sp. Archibebe fino, Sw. Dammsnäppa)

This is one of seven Tringa species in Turkey. The others are:
*** T. erythropus (Tr. Kara kızılbacak, En. Spotted Redshank)
*** T. flavipes (Tr. Küçük sarıbacak, En.Lesser Yellowlegs)
*** T. glareola (Tr. Orman düdükçünü. En. Wood Sandpiper)
*** T. nebularia (Tr. Yeşilbacak, En. Greenshank)
*** T. ochropus (Tr. Yeşil düdükçün, En. Green Sandpiper)
*** T. totanus (Tr.Kızılbacak, En. Redshank)

Marsh Sandpiper is passage visitor bird in Turkey and come in April this year. It lives in wetlands and feeds especially on aquatic invertebtares.

This time I want to dedicate this photo to Volkan Pek "volkan". He is one of our friend in Tn and I follow his very good photos to be better in photography.

This is a very good shot of the Marsh Sandpiper!
The compisition is excellent and it's very sharp. The DOF is brilliant and you blurred the background very well!

I am a very bad friend. I have missed a whole series of your amazing pictures. Sorry.
This one is so brilliant as previous shots. You managed to picture a wonderful photo model. Its colouration and feather are fantastic. Image is crisp sharp and have impressive three-dimensional look. Bravo. Great work.

A fine capture and a good dedication Mustafa, the bird is perfectly in focus from a nice POV, with a high degree of plumage (looks a little strange) and colouration details. TFS my friend.

Great shot, think he is puling his left leg off the water. Probably the details would be more with higher exposure.
