Nest in crevices and cracks of rocks and houses, hollows of trees, nest boxes
Eggs 2-3, 3,5 grams, white, both parents breed 19-20 days
Young ready to fly when wings are 16 cm long (after about 40 days)
Bad weather birds reduce temperature and stay on nest, young can survive a couple of days

without feeding; nonbreeders fly to regions with better weather conditions and return then to the

colony

Hi Akif. This is a very good inflight shot of the fast flying Swift.graet timing from you showing the undeside so well. good detail and natural colours. welldone TFs.

Excellent in-flight capture of Swift. Very difficult to shoot as they fly so fast but you have managed very well. Great sharp details, excellent lighting.

Bu hızlı kuşun uçarken çekilmiş benim gördüğüm en iyi karesi dersem abartmış olmam. Oldukça uygun koşullarda uçarken yakalamaya ben de çalıştım ama bu kalitede çekmenin her babayiğidin harcı olmadığını gördüm. Oldukça başarılı bir kare. Eline sağlık.

nice spread eagle pose. the eye is caught. The cropping is also good. retracted claw with bifurcated tail makes a mood.
