Hi Ahmet,

A lovely image of this snake eagle in flight. Good detail on the plumage and a highlight in the eye with the wings at the right position to add power to the picture. Very good for a hand held shot.

We don't often see photos of eagles in flight. You captured him in a wonderful position - I love the raised wings. Nice natural colors and good details of the face and plummage. The yellow eye is magnificent.

A big THANK YOU for this unexpected and sincerely appreciated honour.

It is a fine capture of this raptor in-flight. You pushed the ISO somewhat and it gave you a very workable shutter speed (at 1/2500 seconds) to freeze the Eagle's movement and to prevent any possible camera shake. This also took care to display the good details of the bird and isn't that big yellow eye just something else to behold. The 100-400L IS gave you a strong enough image to work with and also the ability to crop down quite a bit (I don't know how much though), yet you still retained a lovely clear image. Good exposure control ensured you could overcome the general problem of backlight from the ambient light reflected by the sky. In saying all this I merely attempt to acknowledge the fact that you did great work and it wasn't just a case of point-and-shoot and all the holes in the cheese automatically aligned.
