Though Crocuses have a tendency to grow out of snow too without any accompanying foliage, this picture of yours looks surrealistic, Hayati. The flower growing out a sparkling surface enhances that sensation. I presume it should be either forsted earth or heavy dew on the earth.
The canvas divided into two zones of grey and blue makes this picture very satisfying aesthetically.
