Hello Neighbour,
The picture is not only technically outstanding but also stands apart for its thematic content.
The etiquettes are not entirely confined to humans; look at this male House Sparrow putting "Ladies First" anxiom of desirable social behaviour to perfect practice :).
Birds imbibe water in numerous ways, but this method is touching and a bit humorous too.
All in all, a wonderful picture, Prof Bayram.

This surely is a special moment captured. So beautiful the whole scene and all other fine details in the image. The atmosphere captured is precious and very naive. The photograph is filled with lots of detail to appreciate. Not only your own reflection that you have mentioned in your notes, but also the beak of the bird seen through the stream of water, the tiny catch light in the eye and the almost plumpish backside of the sparrow is only to mention a few. Furthermore the focus and sharpness is tip-top and the background an excellent choice. Thanks for sharing.

I just checked - you're right! Between my knee and the heat I haven't been able to take many pictures lately. I'll have to pull one out of my archives for #500. Thank you for this dedication - the picture is adorable and wonderful. I've seen sparrows do lots of strange things but never drink water like this. Great shot - great timing. You captured the moment perfectly with her taking a nice long drink and he waiting so patiently. This is a keeper.

I see this bird everyday. I must have seen two dozen today. Make that three dozen. And yet you have the humor to add to the title and to make a complete lesson. Sometimes a simple image does not do the job. Sometimes a good title and good notes make all the difference.
