An excellent capture of this beautifully shaped Comma. This must be one of the best camouflaged butterflies there is. The lighting is wonderful and sparkles up his brown color. Fine details and a lovely composition.

In a way, this side of the wings of this butterfly is more significant than its rather flashy upper side, mainly because it justifies its name 'C-comma' by displaying it in white, Seyfi.
It is a very sharp and crisp image that shows the details on the wings to perfection.

Thanks for your kind comments left at my latest posting. This presentation of this butterfly is beautiful and very special. The texture and colours on the wings remind me of bark from an old tree trunk, and the creamy coloured paws stand out well against the dark colour of the wings. A lovely, but eccentric presentation. Thanks for sharing.

You really have some wonderful buttefly shots in your gallery, but this one is my favourite - because I have never seen this species of butterfly for real, I'm looking for it for 3 years now but I never saw it. So I appreciate it even more on pictures. You managed to capture excellent details on the butterfly, and I also like the blurred BG, the composition, the POV. Very well done !

Merhaba Seyfi Bey, arada kaçırdığım çok güzel bir macro. Bu türü 1 kere görme şansım oldu. Onu da erik ağacının üzerinde dalda idi. Uzaktan 1-2 kare çekebildim. Bu kareyi görünce benim çekimler artık beğenilmez dedim:) Nefis çekmişsiniz.
