I'm afraid I will never be able to identify all the different butterflies from Europe and Asia. We see very few here so I love seeing these pictures. This is a beauty in a wonderful pose on the violet flower. Beautiful colors and details which show up so well against the darker background.

The blury green is so exciting and the glowing eye and sharp antenna is the real strength of this shot.
