unknown beetle - identification request
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Unknown beetle which I've meet in ruins of ancient Troy (Truva) city. There was a lot of them visiting various flowers, I suppose they were feeding at pollen.
Nice red-black colour of elytra.
No idea what family or species it could be, please help in identification if you can. I am curious.
I've uploaded this photo only for identification reason. |

Hi Michal
this is Meloidae member from Coleoptera (Beetles). probably it is a species of the genus Mylabris.
you nicely captured and presented it. TFS, best wishes

Hello, Michal.
Thank you for that picture.
Good composition and point of view showing us activities from the insect on the flower. The sharpness and the depth of field are good all along the subject. Maybe is the background to much perceptible. Colors well rendered and realistic. The contrast is good and the exposure is correct.
Thank you for the sharing.
See you soon on treknature for other pictures.
All the best.
Philippe.
