Siempre este tipo de insecto genera problemas por los reflejos producidos, muy bien controlados en este caso.
Adecuado encuadre con mucha agudeza y nitidez, mostrando bellos detalles de este vistoso animal.

The colors, details and textures of this little beetle look adorable and you managed to get the best out of them.
Also the reflections are great and teh tiny water drops (besides the obvious fact that they are very beautiful) give an excellent scale as for how big everything is.

this is a really great picture with a very good composition, caused by the drops and teh leaf.
The sharpness is nearly perfect all over the colourful beetle and the green leaf. There´s a nice depth of field.

Immaculate picture of this beautiful bug from your archives, Sebnem. The numerous points that reflect the flash off its glistening green body endow the picture with a beautiful colour dimension. The pearly drops of moisture on the adjacent downy branch counter-balance the colours on the insect in such a way that the entire composition turns into a rich feast for the eyes.

Merhaba Sebnem!
A very interesting composition formed with the branch of the plant, the bug, and the reaindrops. Well balanced.
The metallic colors of the insect looks so stunning, with that caracteristic high shine and contrast of the metallic surfaces, despite its organic nature.
A high color hues were captured here.
Finally the frame gets the better of this photo, a single one, with that beveled thin green line, combining with the dominant tone.

Hi Sebnem,

Nicely captured, beautiful colors, well done on the composition.
My D200 does not like Sigma lenses. How are you finding your conclusions about Sigma. In web postings, images look good, but, for production, I find them soft, not crisp.

I'm staying with Nikon Lenses, that's going to be a slow build up. I just bought the 70-200mm VR.

I like this photo because of some reasons:

1.it is not easy to do a good macro :)

2.because of the shape it is not easy to photograph a beetle (especially chrysomelid beetle!)

3.it is not easy to take s picture of metallic beetle!

4.the composition is very good, with great details, very nice POV and DOF
