Two-Tailed Pasha
Family: Nymphalidae

The Two-Tailed Pasha is the largest European butterfly, with the fore-wing span of the female often measuring more than 4 inches. These butterflies fly very fast. The males defend their territory and, like the Swallowtail, exhibit "hilltopping" behavior. They are locally common in the Mediterranean region, and one of their distinguishing marks is the two tails of the hind-wings.pity this one's wings abit has been demolished

This is a very interesting perspective. Very creative! :)
Wonderful colors and texture - like a rich velvet.

Good Luck
Fartash

I'd love to see it in flight Ridvan, it's looks more muscular than most other breeds.

This is an excellent composition and point of view. Great depth of field.

Gary

great macro that makes it seem you're almost between the insects antenna. nice colors and focus.

Hi Ridvan,
Splendid macro shot. Immaculate sharpness and nice colours with spot-on focus. I like your head-on POV to portray it and the gorgeous eye bulbs. Very interesting motion blur of the antennaes captured. Very nicely composed. Kudos.
TFS.
Sumon

This POV works quite well for this shot.
Some nice colour and details here with an interesting shape created by the legs and antennae.
Good work Ridvan.
Cheers,Steve

excellant macro shot.
Very sharp and detailed.

You show a degree of boldness in your macro images, Ridvan.
Your effort to capture a close-up of the eyes of this butterfly has been reasonably successful.
Well done and TFS.

Hi Ridvan

A very good POV - the bits that are out of focus give the insect a slightly menacing look - great. The colour is great also.

James

Ridvan, what a closeup shot and lovely macro. Ganesh

Hello Ridvan !
I like this picture, because it shows us the butterfly from a different POV as usual. Great eye contact with the butterfly, he looks directly in the camera. Excellent details on the head and beautiful colors. Very well done !
Valerie

Hello again dear Ridvan!
I do not not why but I overlooked this picture before.
Very good portrait of this Nymphalidae butterfly (even if it would be nice to see it also from different POV - especially from above). I like this face-to-face shot. Details are very good, I can easy see its red hair-dress ;>
Great work my Friend!
TFS and best regards,
Radomir
