Eirenis modestus (Martin, 1838) - Uysal Yılan [TR], Dwarf Snake [EN] is a member of the family Colibridae of Ophidia (Snakes). This snake is approximately 79 cm in lenght. It is relatively common snake almost all part of Turkiye. It is not dangerous and poisonuos. Turkish name "Uysal" already means "Docile".

A very well focused shot of this serpent.Snakes can be very difficult to shoot.You have managed it well.Nice detail and textures and well saturated colours.You have caught this snake in the classic defensive pose.TFS

Hello Ahmet,
This is a beautiful capture of a nice specie. A lower POV could have been nice too but I like to see the texture of its body. It also has a camouflages' color :) The only "snakes" we have in Quebec are mostly "grass snake and I don't see them often. I like them and I wish that I could have the chance to see more of them.
You managed well with exposure and details in a nice composition. TFS this interesting animal,
