[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My first reptile in TN, from a field study in Köprülü Kanyon where i photographed also my blue odonate.

This is the most common and widesprad of the 4 agamid lizards in Turkey (BTW, i miss the times when the two words being synonymous, things going better for animals).

There is plenty of information in portfolio of Bayram Göçmen's (boreocypriensis) on this and other subspecies of this Laudakia species.

When i saw the animal i moved closer openly and only to see him become more brave and climb to top(where you see) from between the rock piles with cool movements. He stood there couple of minutes like a warlord before his army

I like to see animals behave so bravely in occasions even though they are under the heavy effect of hormones.

No animal, lichen or stone seen in this photo has been harmed or killed :)

Hello Umit,
this must have been really hard to see, as this animal blends in so nicely with the background. Not blending here, you really did an excellent job with theDOF and the sharpness of this phototgraph.
Very nice work.

Hello Umit,
Excellent capture of this beautiful Lizard. Good focus and great sharpness. The colours are very beautiful, I like the bluish tinge! ice soft background and very well composed.
Many thanks and regards, Ulla

Hola Ümit,
A fine start in the "reptiles" department my friend, you've captured this fine and colorful specimen in a characteristic posture they love to take during basking. Good exposure and nice composition, TFS indeed!

Hi Umit.
I like your photo model. You have pictured it amazingly. Excellent details and sharpness. Framing is very attractive. I also like very impressive stone which has similar coloration. BG is well blurred and very nice too. My best wishes and TFS.
Alexei.

Hello Umit,
Very nice close-up of this interesting reptile. You were really close to it I believe. Fine details, sharpness and DOF. Also note brings interesting data. And of course my best congratulations because of this first reptile picture on TN!
Best greetings,
Radomir

Hello Umit,
Sharp. Details are very visible. Very good depth of field. Good point of view. My nit is a bit the compo. Quite personal though;-)
Well done

Hi Umit,
of several Hardun shots on TN this one stands out for its clarity, excellent light, composition. The animal shows colors on the back, at the head, a male? Wonderful, Umit.
Best regards
Dietrich

Ümit merhaba , doğal ortamında çekilmiş çok güzel bir türün başarılı bir fotoğrafı , bakış açısı ve komp. hoş olmuş , eline sağlık , bol şanslar .

It's a very nice shot as a "first reptile". I also love the Harduns. But they usually don't let humans get closer, you did a good job. DOF, sharpness and BG effect are wonderful.
I want to point to the camuflage of this species. You can see it very well in this shot. Just look at the dorsum and especially top of the head. It's very similiar to the rock with some lichenes on it.
Thank you for sharing.
All the best

I find lizards quite co-operative while we try to photograph them, Umit. At least that is my experience. Yesterday and day before, I took pictures of a few lizards in the garden and all of them just had a cursory look at me before going back to what they were doing -- mostly day-dreaming, I suppose :-)!
This is a good shot of the agamid found in your area.
The focus is sharp and the details are vivid.
TFS.
