One of the most valuable bir species in Turkey.Unfortunatly now accapted extinc in the wild. Only about 120 individual have been kept in captivity in Birecik town, Turkey.

Beautiful photo of this Bald Ibis. Good sharpness and details in the black feathers. Good natural colours. Nice composition. Is Birecik a birdpark or zoo?

Hello Mustafa,
an interesting diagonal of this extremely rare bird. It once was part of the Swiss fauna as well as described by Conrad Gessner back in the 16th century. Its good you remind us of our duties towards species conservation. Thanks, Mustafa, for this.
