[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi dear friends,
I was curious about these insects for quite some time. I had never seen one before without flying. So I was lucky last summer. I saw the damselfly in my garden and I had the opportunity of taking plenty of photos.

When I learned that they mostly feed on mosquitos I loved these flies even more. They look very fragile and about 5cm in length. I saw two on the same branch and one amazing thing is I had setup the tripod and I was too close these guys were taking off and land on the exact same spot as they were before. I never had to reposition the tripod.

They are very photographer friendly as long as you are moving slowly. You have the sense of being watched by them :)

Now I have to find a Dragonfly and a Praying Mantis.

Interesting portrait. The image seems to be a bit soft but it preserves nice details and has lovely colours.

Hi Ahmet.
Great macro work. Applied technique is amazing. Shot is composed perfectly. Its colours and exposure are very nice.
I also must say that some details are lost. The cause will be small aperture value (f/36). Only high-class lens give excellent sharpness at so small aperture. It is true I don't know you capacity of your lens. It will be long exposure time and some shaking of the camera or insect despite using a tripod. In a word, you have some reserve and it is very good. My compliments and TFS.
