Thanks Ivan for identification of its species.

The butterfy was female of Anadolu Yalancı Cadısı [TR], White-banded Grayling [EN](Pseudochazara anthelea (Hübner, [1824])). The male has large area of white on the wings, a good example of sexual dimorphism.

Hello Ahmet,
Excellent presentation of both under- and upper-side of this beautiful Grayling. Both pictures show sharp details and fine colours. Very skillfull in-flight shot. The upper-side is usually very hard to capture in this species.
Many thanks and regards, Ulla

Hello Ahmet,
Brilliant capture of the female White -banded Grayling (Pseudochazara anthelea), both in the resting and flying positions. Nice and sharp and well presented.
The male has large area of white on the wings, a good example of sexual dimorphism. Excellent contribution to TN!
Well done and TFS!
Regards, Ivan

Hello Ahmet,
truly well descriptive presentation with fine naturalistic colours and reasonably good details. The in-flight capture reveals the upper side of wings very well. An impressing document, indeed, offering a rare view as graylings hardly ever open their wings when sitting at rest.
With thanks, and best regards,
Peter
