[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This robber fly (family Asilidae) was noticed devouring its dipteran prey silently in a children's park near Termessos, Antalya (TURKEY). The hunter seemed unimpressed a few centimeters before my lens, sucking the life out from its prey with slow movements.

Hi Ümit,
An excellent shot of predator-prey relationship, your POV is perfect and the chosen DOF effectively kept both the predator and the prey sharply in-focus, not an easy achievement in extreme close-ups. Well done and TFS.

Excellent, excellent, Umic,
you use the flash really skillfully. All is perfect, DOF, DOV, posture, background. Keep up the good work, Umit! Welcome on TN again.

Hello Umit!
At first I would like to thank you for comment to my picture :)
This time I decided to write a few words to this one - maybe because Asilidae flies are one of my favourite family :)
I like this predator with prey (a prey is most probably some Ichneumonidae wasp). Nice and interesting POV and good details.
Pleaase be sure that I'll be back to your gallery soon :)
Friendly yours,
Radomir

Ps. Just for fun, please feel free to watch some of my Asilidae photos with prey here and here :)

Hi Ümit,
