[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Cygnus olor (TUR: Kuğu, ENG: Mute Swan): Photo was taken today in Sazköy area near Zonguldak. There were about 30 such swan there. All of them was young like this individual. Unfortunately there were also about 10 hunter. The area is a very important bird area, however open to hunting. Fortunately hunters did not shot this birds. This bird species under protection in Turkey.
This species of bird is found naturally mainly in temperate areas of Europe across western Asia, as far east as the Russian maritimes, near Sidemi.
