I don't think I have seen insects this close up before, and it's a good thing I don't. I would scream like a little girl if I see it with this much detail. Good job, excellent clarity and wonderful colors.

Hi Umit, I can't help you with ID. Actually it might help others (more knowledgeable in this area if you also post a full size shot of this in a workshop. In any case this is a very close macro, with very fine detail on the head.

Good portrait Ümit, the best part is the fine detail of the compound eyes, we can easily observe the top 1/3 coarse seeing part, below that another 1/3 fine seeing part and below that much finer (ommatidiums much more numerous and smaller) high resolution sight part. Very good my friend.

Hi Umit,
incredible, how you present all the fine details of the dragonfly eye. You even can study thae (black) focus of the lower eye. Extremely good macro, Umit.
I still remember how a fellow student of mine during the Matura examination said: "insects are primitive organisms" and how the professor jumped almost to the ceiling in anger.

Superb clarity and focus! The background color is very nice. But most of all, the sharp focus on the eyes and mouth of this subject is simply amazing.
