Euphydryas orientalis (Güzel Nazuğum in Turkish language) is under the threat of extinction in Anatolia. Currently can bee seen in central Anatolia, Ankara. This picture was taken in 2000 or 2001 -I do not remember exactly unfortunately- on kodak 100s slide film with EF 100/2,8 usm macro lens mounted on EOS Elan 7e body.
Thanks a lot in advance for your visiting and comments.

A very nice capture, obviously the result of an ideal POV and a well chosen DOF Emre, the OOF BG compliments this fine composition nicely. The scanning process was quite succesful.

Ciao Emre,
non conosceva questa bella specie di Euphydryas.
Grazie per avercela mostrata.
Mi spiace sapere che corre pericolo di estinzione in Anatolia.
Ciao,
Marcello
