A lovely shot - excellent POV with outstanding colours and detail. Well observed and captured. We get Reed Buntings in the reeds by the dyke where I live, but noy until later in the year.

Lovely details in this little feather ball. This seems to be a little bird, with fine details in the plumage. Lovely combination of dark brown, rustic brown and beige. All attractive natural colours. Excellent capture of a Spanish Sparrow. The pose, POV, and sharpness allow us to see the features that distinguish him from other Passer species well. I also like the composition in the reeds and a fine contrasting BG.

It must be a great time for birdwatching now in Turkey when the storks start arriving! This is a lovely close capture of the Spanish Sparrow in a fine composition. Great sharpness and beautiful colours. I captured this little sparrow in Paphos on Cyprus but at quite a distance - very exciting for us northerners to see!

The expression on the bird seems like it is cold.

A wonderful little Spanish Sparrow. It's interesting to see the differences and similarities between this and our House Sparrow. You show off his face, wings and plummage very well with good detail and color. Your field studies sound fascinating!
