What a lovely gesture to dedicate this beautiful scene to your supervisor Bayram. It is not the first time that I have seen you mentioning his name in either a comment or posting which shows that you have great respect for him. These flowers growing from out of the snow never seize to amaze me. The contrast of this lavender coloured flower and the snow makes a lovely combination and a great view. Unfortunately I cannot help you with the ID. Thanks for sharing.

I hope Dr. Bayram gives you the deserved "credits" for this lovely gesture. Anything for a couple of 'project points' (chuckle). No, jokes aside, he is a great guy and deserves this dedication and other tributes from his fellow TrekNature members and friends.

This is a magic photo with the flower breaking the snow to show its exquisite beauty. Excellent exposure control to contain the excessive reflective light, which was coming from the snow. You had to prevent the possibility of massive OE on the white snow and yet still retain sufficient light to capture all the detail on the slightly darker flower. That you have achieved rather well.

I knew I have seen this flower on the site and I searched the gallery (left, right, & centre, then up, down, & centre again). The problem is that you don't know what to search for so you try out various key words and then go through pages and pages without finding what you are looking for. Eventually, I am sure I found it though, but I stand to be corrected. Seems like this is one of the so-called "Grape Hyacinth's" from the genus Muscari. The link I provided here is probably the closest to yours and it even comes from the same region - Arap sümbülü. You probably need to confirm it by consulting some resources for indigenous flora from the region where you captured this and you are bound to make a positive ID.

Before I searched for the ID I quickly scanned through the critiques which you already received. I just wanted to make sure that somebody didn't already provide the ID and I therefore tried to do so in vain. Unfortunately there were a number of Turkish critiques so obviously I couldn't understand those and evidently I did not realise that someone already named the genus. So, I just continued to try and find whatever I could. Now imagine the brake marks (chuckle) after all the work I did, to find the genus Muscari was already provided by Ahmet. Ha-ha-ha, some you win and some you lose. But after all, it seems at least that I supplied you with a probable match on the species name and the added advantage is that I have learned something in the process as well.

Lovely capture of this spring flower that had broken through the mountain snow to show its beauty. The central composition is fine but maybe a vertical framing instead of horizontal would have been more suitable.
Though the capture itself is sharp and taken from a good POV.

I cannot believe this, i simply cannot believe this can happen, i wonder whther this was after fresh snow...and i say again and again.. this is amazing....The composition is so original and so lovely a dedication for someone like Bayram who is a specialist in some of nature's craetions and their life.He truly deserves this every bit.
I like your find Mehmet, for it is a very unique phenomenon that you have presented here atleast for those like me who live in the tropics in the plains and snow is like a tourist kind of affair.And this is such a soothing beautiful picture.Did you sort of level that pit around its stem a bit so you could get a clean snap...all the same i am quite impressed by this composition and thanks for posting this...

It is rarely that we see a blue flower popping out of snow.
Thematically, this is one of the most curious phenomena of nature and you have shot it diligently.

This is very ineteresting. I've never seen a Muscari (M. armeniacum is an often planted specie here in Hungary, too) in snow. A unique moment, and of course, a great dedication to Prof. Bayram. Yes, an off-centered composition (as the workshop) would have been better, mostly with a little bit bigger dose of contrast, but I give 2 points due to the uniqueness of the pic. Tfs.
