This is the first time I am seeing this beautiful Heron. The colors of the beak and eye are magnificent - as is the golden plummage. Excellent details and I love the hair-do.

Hello Cahit,
A beautiful close portrait of a Squacco Heron in breeding plumage. You caught him in fine pose to the wonderful blue of the beak and green round the eye, beautiful neck plume and the fine sandy colour of the neck and body. Not often we see the beauty of this species in the breeding season.
